The Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), in partnership with leading logistics and transport provider 2GO, facilitated the transport of a mobile treatment plant (MTP) to communities ravaged by the recent eruption of Mt. Kanlaon.
Deployed by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) to several barangays in Negros Oriental, MTP is a vital portable water purification system designed to provide clean drinking water to communities suffering from water shortage due to the disaster. This system also helps prevent potential health risks associated with water contamination and inadequate sanitation.
